ABOUT US
We’re Nehemiah Markos and Jed Feiman — writers, comedians, and biological brothers based in NYC. Together, we’re the comedy pair Never Sad.
We’re frequent contributors to The New Yorker’s Shouts & Murmurs. Our work has racked up millions of views online and been featured in Vulture, WIRED, Salon, Adweek, Time Out, and relatives’ church/synagogue bulletins.
Our short, D.E. Eye Exam, was nominated for the 2026 Webby Award for Best Comedy Video. Previously we served as WGA staff writers on season two of The Me and You Show, Snapchat’s most subscribed original series, and were finalists in Nickelodeon’s Content Accelerator (top 10 out of 2,000+ series submissions). Projects we’ve developed have also been selected as finalists at Just For Laughs’ Stand Up & Pitch, the Sundance Episodic Makers Lab, and Universal Content Productions’ Pitch Fest.
Other highlights include serving as man-on-the-street Comedy Correspondents for BLOCKTV, writing for Nat Geo Wild’s late-night special Wild After Dark, and even updating the tabletop game Blacks & Whites.
Our live show has been featured in The New York Times. Never Sad’s festival credits include SF Sketchfest, the New York Comedy Festival, the Boom Chicago Comedy Festival (Amsterdam!), and Toronto Sketchfest (among many others).

We’re also unique individuals sometimes:
Nehemiah is a first generation Ethiopian-American from the DM[V]. He is an audiobook voiceover artist and likes psychedelics and baking delicious desserts (sometimes while on psychedelics).
Jed’s a native New Yorker and Cavapoo dad, with acting credits on HBO Max and Hulu. In his spare time, he loves filing his taxes and applying ointments to his pale, frail body. (this was written by Nehemiah)
