We’re Nehemiah Markos & Jed Feiman – writers, comedians and biological brothers based in NYC. Together we’re the comedy pair, Never Sad.

We were finalists for the 2023 Nickelodeon Content Accelerator (top 10 out of 2000+ series submissions) and recently staff writers on The Me and You Show, a sketch comedy series for Snap Originals. We also frequently contribute humor to The New Yorker’s Shouts & Murmurs.

Previously projects we’ve developed were finalists at Just for Laughs’ Stand Up & Pitch digital series competition, for the Sundance Episodic Makers Lab, and in NBC/Universal Content Productions’ Pitch Fest. We were also Comedy Correspondents for BLOCKTV, wrote for Nat Geo Wild’s late-night comedy special “Wild After Dark,” and updated the tabletop game, Blacks & Whites.

Our live show, the Always Happy Video Comedy Bop, has been featured in The New York Times.  Festival credits include SF Sketchfest, the New York Comedy Festival, Toronto Sketchfest, the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, and Montreal Sketchfest, among many others.

Nehemiah is a first generation Ethiopian-American from the DM[V]. He likes psychedelics and baking delicious desserts (sometimes while on psychedelics). 

Jed is a native New Yorker and Cavapoo owner. In his spare time, he loves filing his taxes and applying ointments to his pale, frail body. (this was written by Nehemiah)
